OnBar error "Attempt to authorize root failed"

That error means that and XBSA call returned
BSA_RC_AUTHENTICATION_FAILURE, which is very unusual for a BSAGetObject
call.

I am assuming you are using ISM. You need to look at the ISM log, at
/nsr/logs/daemon.log to see what happened, most likely the ISM imported
restore was not completed or done in a proper manner, the ISM Imported
restore is very long and manual and is documented in the Informix
Storage Manager manual.

Hi all
We're attempting what is, in effect, an imported restore from one machine to another and getting the above error (full message below) on starting the "onbar -r" command - we've got users root and informix showing correctly in nsradmin and we can't work out what else we may have missed. Does anyone have any clues please?
