The court and many other city agencies rely on the Municipal Court Information System (MCIS) to manage data regarding misdemeanors, gross misdemeanors, infractions and civil violations.

As a database administrator with expertise in Informix you would play a key role in the court's progress into the future by helping the court transition from a legacy system run on Informix to a more modern database platform (yet to be chosen).
