Dear colleagues,
I am really stuck with ODBC/OLEDB/SQL Server Integration Services connectivity to our production box still running IDS 7.31UC6AX7.
We need to copy portions of data to datamart server. Before the damned change, it was SQL 2005 32bit (+ SDK 2.81TCx). Now it is _upgraded_ to SQL 2008R2 (+ SDK 3.70TC4)and old good ODBC connections does not work.
I tried to switch to OLEDB and even SSIS (with different versions of SDK) but reliable connection is still not available. I found myself in a black despair because production box is close to 100% fullness and I cannot move data to datamart one to free the dbspaces.
The only question I have is there a good, tested, reliable combination of IDS and CSDK to connect the following
Source Server
HP-UX 11.11i
IDS 7.31UC6AX7
Destination Server
Windows Server 2003 / 2003 R2 / 2008 / 2008 R2 (could configure any version,
32bit or 64 bit)
SQL Server 2008 / 2008 R2 (again, both 32 or 64 bit editions are possible)
Holding my breath to get an answer,
Sergei
